At which step do you need to provide the allocation of shares?

The Right Time for Share Allocation: What Steps Are Needed?

After your company has been incorporated, you will need to allocate shares to its shareholders for your Post-Incorporation package.

It is essential to remember that the allocation of shares is not required in order to incorporate legally.

Before the company is formed, you must provide the total number of authorized shares and the par value; after that, you can decide how to allocate the shares.

Please note:

The distinction between authorized and issued shares can be found here.

However, the longer you wait to distribute the shares to your shareholders, the longer you should expect delays in the post-formation documents. That being said, it is highly recommended that you provide all of the information requested during your application in order to expedite the entire process.
